Representative Kaoru Kobayashi established KOBAYASHI METAL WORKS CO., LTD. in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, with metal stamping as its main business.
With the end of the Korean War, production equipment was completely switched to electrical and electronic component manufacturing.
Established a precision parts manufacturing system by building a new factory and investing in high-precision machineries.
Moved from Sumida-ku, Tokyo, where it was founded, to Yashio-shi, Saitama Prefecture, where it is currently located, due to the disaster prevention base construction plan for the Higashi Shirahige Bridge District, Tokyo.
Takanobu Kobayashi was appointed as President and Representative Director.
Established KOBAKIN (M) SDN. BHD., an overseas subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
KOBAKIN MALAYSIA's office building and factory was completed in the HICOM Industrial Area in Shah Alam, Selangor, and operations began in August.
A new material warehouse was built inside the company and the main gate expanded as of the current company building.
KOBAKIN JAPAN acquired the international certification standard ISO 9001.
KOBAKIN JAPAN acquired the international certification standard ISO 14001.
The company name changed from KOBAYASHI METAL WORKS CO., LTD. to KOBAKIN JAPAN CO., LTD..
Introduced automated machine in the parts assembly process by press working and spot welding.
Introduced industrial robot to an existing press to automate the parts assembly process by press-fitting.
Purchased a warehouse (260m2) nearby to secure space for the factory.
Takahiro Kobayashi was appointed as President and Representative Director.
Dissolved KOBAKIN (M) SDN. BHD., an overseas subsidiary after 28 years of operation in Malaysia.
Purchased second auto degreasing MC towards enhancement of mass-production capacity.
Transferred tooling fabrication section to the Togasaki Factory in Misato-shi, Saitama Prefecture, and began production operations at two domestic factories in August.
